17206 - Installation of new water distribution mains and fittings

Installation of new water distribution mains and fittings. The project includes for the installation of approximately 600m of service pipe for connections between the new mains and the new individual boundary meter boxes and the consumers along with the installation of approximately 8,540m of new 32mm, 63mm and 90mm OD distribution mains in road, verge and field throughout the scheme. The works also include for the installation of 82 No Sluice/Scour, air valves and fittings along the route of the new distribution mains, also included is the installation of 55 Individual Boundary meter boxes, 6No Bulk meter chambers and meters, and 2 No Pressure Reducing Valves. At the point of connection to the existing Nephin Valley GWS 90mm OD main (Point A) a new Bulk meter and Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) including 2 No Sluice Valves are to be installed. As shown on drawing 17206_0001_T.
