Provision of Park and Ride Bus Service, car park management & ancillary services for Christmas 2017

Galway City Council invites Tenders for the provision of a temporary Park and Ride bus service, car park management and ancillary services for Christmas 2017 as described below: • Provision of a park and ride bus service for specific dates in December 2017 between Galway Race Course and Galway City Coach Station including collection of fares from passengers in both directions. • Car park management including security for specific hours at Galway race course on specific dates. • Procurement of an event licence from the NTA for this bus service serving passengers in both directions. • Provision, erection and maintenance of specified directional signage and advertising for the service. • Maintain records of the numbers of passengers carried. The car parking site at the racecourse is bounded by the Monivea Road, the Ballybane Road and the Dublin Road. The parking facilities will be accessed via the Parkmore Road and will include spaces for motorcyclists and people with disabilities.
