EH171117 - EXTENSION & ASSOCIATED REDEVELOPMENT WORKS TO EDEL HOUSE

The proposed project comprises of extension and refurbishment of existing Good Shepherd Cork accommodation at Edel House, Grattan Street Cork. The proposed works comprises construction of new accommodation extension over four floors (Ground, First, Second, Third floors). Accommodation comprises 28-bedroom extension, together with recreation rooms, play rooms, function rooms, counselling rooms, training rooms, beauty rooms, sitting rooms, laundry room and administration office. Works to the existing building include demolition of central section of building, together with internal demolitions and alterations to create new layouts; Accommodation to be provided within the existing building will include 6-family bedrooms, offices / admin support accommodation, meeting room, visitor’s rooms, family room, recreation room, laundry rooms. The works will be completed on a phased basis; where phase 1 will include for the new build extension together with associated site development works; phase 2 comprise re-modelling and refurbishment of the existing building, with and including associated site works.
