PIN - Balleally Surface Water Project

This is a Prior Information Notice and not a call for competition – a call for competition may be placed within the next 12 months. This notice aims to provide advance warning to the market that shorter timescales may apply at tender stage. Fingal County Council intends to invite submissions from companies/organisations with expertise and capabilities relating to civil engineering works including; road widening and realignment works, surface water and foul drainage works, pavement construction and building works Works include: Road Surfacing, Widening and Realignment • Raising existing road vertical alignment • Construct new bituminous road pavement • Modify existing utilities and construct new utilities • Tie-in realigned road into existing road • Adjust boundaries to suit realigned road • Resurface existing internal access roads • Construct new car park with bituminous surfacing Drainage Works • Construct new surface water and leachate sewers adjacent landfill cells • Decommission existing surface water and foul sewers • Construct car park surface water drainage system • Remediate existing filter drains • Construct new open channel surface water drainage system • Connect existing discharges to new drainage systems Building Works • Construct new toilet block foundation • Construct new Administration Building foundation at alternative location within the Landfill site • Relocate existing 2-storey Administration Building within the Landfill site • Construct ancillary services and infrastructure Works are planned to take place over approximately a 6-month period. Site Visit for interested contractors will be held during the tender period. It is the intention of the contracting authority to hold site visits on the Friday 3rd November 2017.
