UL0461 - Laptop Loan Device for Glucksman Library University of Limerick

The Glucksman Library at the University of Limerick wishes to acquire a laptop loans device to facilitate the self-service borrowing of laptops by students. The device should integrate fully and directly with the Glucksman’s library service platform (LSP), currently Ex Libris’ Alma, via the SIP2 protocol and observe all loan rules established by the LSP. The device should permit students to borrow and return laptops and for all transactions to be facilitated through the LSP.
