LiaisonSupport - Project management co-ordinator and Local Authority liaison support

The EPA is currently in the process of implementing the National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Programme (AAMP) using the provisions of Section 65 of the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 (as amended) to provide a statutory framework for the management, co-ordination and development of an enhanced national monitoring programme. Part of the implementation of the AAMP is a greatly expanded monitoring network with potential additional and increased input from Local Authorities (LAs). This increased interaction with LAs across Ireland will require a full-time resource to act as a project management co-ordinator and Local Authority liaison. The bulk of this role will be in the co-ordination of the project to implement the AAMP and also to create and manage contacts and work on logistics to adapt new LAs into the national monitoring network. Additional duties may include assistance with procurement and any other administrative needs that arise during the implementation of the AAMP.
