Trail Inspection Template - Development of Recreation Trail Inspection Template

Wicklow Way Partnership (consisting of County Wicklow Partnership/RRO, Mountain Meitheal, Wicklow County Council, National Parks and Wildlife Service and Coillte) referred to from here on as ‘the project partners’, are requesting tenders for the development of an inspection template for owners and managers of recreation trails in Wicklow to ensure consistent quality across all trails in the county. In order to achieve this goal, the project partners have identified a need for the development of a common approach and a set standard for the inspection of recreation trails. Currently in Co. Wicklow, way marked ways are under the ownership and responsibility of a wide variety of individuals and groups, each of which has a different inspection regime.
