ccfb 01/2017 - Provision of clothing for Cork City Fire Brigade

Cork City Council invites tenders using the Open Procedure for the supply of clothing to Cork City Fire Brigade personnel over a three year period with the option to extend for a further two years if required. Cork City Fire Brigade (CCFB), as part of Cork City Council’s Human Resources and Organisational Reform Directorate has approximately 140 staff to deliver a fire and emergency service to all the citizens of Cork City. Approx 140 Fire Fighters are dedicated to this on a 24 hours/7 day week basis. (There is currently 1 Female Firefighter) Suitable hard wearing clothing is provided to the staff in the carrying out of these duties. Clothing must be smart to maintain the public image of Cork City Fire Brigade and must also be suited to purpose.
