A/59/45(4) Lift Contract - Development and Refurbishment of Athlone Garda Station - Lift Contract element of a Reserved Specialist Procedure

This is a Reserved Specialist Procedure. The Main Contract will be awarded by the OPW under Notice RFT 118677. There will be three separate notices for Reserved Specialist Contracts which will be sub-contracts to the Main Contractor: Mechanical (CPV 45350000-5, Notice RFT 118669); Electrical (CPV 45310000-3, Notice RFT 118670); Lift (CPV 45313100-5, Notice RFT 118677). The successful Tenderers for the Reserved Specialist works will be identified by the OPW, with the Main Contractor awarding the sub-contracts. This is the Lift Contract element of the Project. The complete project will consist of (a) demolition of an existing single storey storage building and boundary walls at the rear of the existing buildings; (b) demolition of the existing cell block at the rear of the Garda Station; (c) construction of a four storey link structure in the existing laneway between the Garda Station and Government Buildings; (d) construction of a new single storey cell block to the rear of the Garda Station; (e) construction of additions to the second floor of the existing Government Buildings; (f) modifications of the existing structures including alterations to internal layouts, existing elevations and existing window and door openings and all ancillary and associated site works.
