Title – Specialist Machine Shop Services
Iarnród Éireann have a requirement for the services of a specialist engineering company to provide specialist machine support services to assist in the heave maintenance processes undertaken in Inchicore Works.
Predominantly, the contract will cover (but not limited to) repairs to Axle Boxes, Suspension Tubes and Final Drive Gear Boxes all of which are deemed to be installed in safety critical applications.
Repairs undertaken may require Electroplating, Bushing, Precision Machine Boring, Metal Spraying, MPI, Shot-Peening, Welding, Reverse Engineering, Casting and Painting and all repairs must be undertaken in a controlled environment and to the highest of engineering standards.
