RFITPT001/17 - The Defence Forces request information from interested parties in relation to the feasibility of introducing a telematics system into the Defence Forces vehicle fleet

The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

The Defence Forces request information from interested parties in relation to the feasibility of introducing a telematics system into the Defence Forces vehicle fleet. The intended purpose of such a system is twofold, firstly for accountability purposes and to monitor driver behaviour while driving a service vehicle and secondly in terms of the collation of information which would allow the Defence Forces to manage its transport resources more efficiently. Information from the latter should be able to indicate the frequency of use of the vehicle, length of the average journey and average fuel consumption (it should be capable of highlighting anomalies in fuel consumption). Special consideration must be given to the security requirements listed below. Solutions which do not meet the security requirements will not be considered.
