SLS 4th floor - Refurbishment of the 4th floor of 7-9 South Leinster St to provide research and teaching facilities for TCD School of Computer Science & Statistics

New Computer Science and Statistics facilities on the 4th Floor of 7-9 South Leinster Street, Dublin 2 to provide 600m2 of educational / office space. The refurbishment generally consists of the following; - A temporary external stair and lift system (located off Leinster Lane) will be required for access to the site as both existing building staircases and lifts will be inaccessible to contractors. - Strip out of existing office fit out including removing internal partitions, services installations, existing doors and internal wall, floor and ceiling finishes. - Remove and replace all existing external windows. - Provide new internal partitions and floor, wall and ceiling finishes for revised internal layout including thermal upgrade works to existing building envelope. - Mechanical and Electrical Services Installations including builders work and attendances. - New kitchen in canteen and new sanitary fittings to accessible WC only. - Fitted furniture including desks, benches, shelving and lockers. The existing building comprises a 5 storey structure with ground floor undercroft parking. Ground to third floors are fully occupied and will remain so during the fit-out work
