Bord Iascaigh Mhara 2017 - PQQ - Single Party Contract for a Principal (Main) Contractor For the Development a Sea Survival Training Centre at the National Fisheries College Greencastle, Co. Donegal

Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM), the Irish Sea Fisheries Board, is the state agency set up to promote the sustainable development of the Seafood sector. Our mission is to grow a thriving Irish seafood industry, expand the raw material base, add value and develop efficient supply chains that together deliver on the Government’s strategy for the seafood sector. As part of this mandate, BIM are the primary training body for fishermen in Ireland. Training is provided at dedicated colleges in Greencastle, Co. Donegal and Castletownbere, Co. Cork as well as Coastal Training Units that travel throughout the country. As part of a major development planned for the National Fisheries College at Greencastle, called the Greencastle Sea Survival Training Centre/SSTC, BIM wish to appoint a main construction contractor to construct the SSTC on behalf of BIM.
