The main output of this research will be the preparation of a report identifying disadvantaged communities whose services are negatively impacted. It will set out the practical steps that communities can follow in order to combat this disadvantage in terms of improving provision of services (transport, retail, information availability, job creation, training) particularly focusing on where community facilities can be used to establish new services using a model of community ownership of social enterprises.
