Virgin Mary Girls NS Ballymun D9 - Emergency Works 2016 - To Provide Access, Toilet Facilities, Platform Lift and Replace Pathways

Contractors are invited to tender for the provision of universal access for all both on the approach to the school and also to include for unrestricted circulation throughout the school building. The following is a summary of the works required. 1. Install ramped access to each entrance / fire escape door of the girl's school, breakfast club and general purpose hall. 2. Install an external ramp to access both the play area. 3. Resurface the footpaths on approach routes. 4. Install an internal lift to provide access to the first floor classrooms. 5. Provide level access toilet facilities. 6. Electrical, fire alarm, intruder alarm and platform lift alterations are the responsibility of the main Contractor. The latter will engage suitably qualified domestic sub-contractors who are capable of design and installation of the above services 7. The Main Contractor will be appointed as Project Supervisor (Construction Stage) in Health and Safety matters. 8. All other works necessary for the proper completion of the project whether or not expressly stated in the contract documents
