ITT16-052 - Seafest 2017 Festival and Events Management Expertise

On behalf of the Marine Coordination Group, the Marine Institute is seeking to engage a provider of Festival Management Expertise to manage and deliver SeaFest 2017 in Galway, with an option at the discretion of the Marine Institute to extend the contract for SeaFest 2018, which will also take place in Galway. The 2017 event will run from Friday 30th June – Sunday 2nd July 2017 inclusive. The expertise will be required to be based in Galway during the term of the contract and office facilities and administration support will be provided at a location in Galway. SeaFest is an annual celebration of Ireland’s Ocean Wealth which includes a mix of public, business and public-policy events. SeaFest is a key part of Harnessing our Ocean Wealth: An Integrated Marine plan for Ireland (HOOW) and its goal of increasing participation and engagement with the sea.
