WH Fire Service 2016-01 - Supply and delivery of one Used 4x4 Passenger Jeep or SUV, and one Used 4x4 Commercial Jeep

Westmeath County Council requires the supply and delivery of one Used 4x4 Passenger Jeep or SUV, and one Used 4x4 Commercial Jeep as laid out in this tender. Note that the Tenderer may price for one or both of these Jeep types and may submit a number of options for either or both. 1. This contract is a fixed price contract for the supply of one Used 4x4 Passenger Jeep or SUV, and one Used 4x4 Commercial Jeep for Westmeath County Council. 2. The vehicle shall comply with the specifications outlined in Schedule A for the Used 4x4 Passenger Jeep or SUV, and in Schedule B for the Used 4x4 Commercial Jeep, of this tender document. 3. All vehicles must comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1961, as amended, and with all Statutory Instruments and Regulations made thereunder, and with the provisions of the Statutory Instruments and Regulations made under the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to standards for motor vehicles and their components. 4. The successful tenderer must be able to deliver the vehicle(s) within one week from the date of Purchase Order. 5. The vehicle(s) shall be delivered with a full tank of fuel. 6. The vehicle(s) shall be supplied with a fully charged battery. 7. Delivery of vehicle(s) to: Westmeath County Council, Fire Station, Mullingar Business Park, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. 8. The tenderer must submit not less than six photos of each vehicle showing the four sides and the interior. 9. The vehicle(s) must satisfy Westmeath County Council as to their suitability following a road test, before a contract will be awarded. If a vehicle doesn’t pass this road test, then that vehicle will no longer be considered.
