AA393 - Shannon-Erne Canal, Lock 14 Grouting Contract

• Installation of temporary structures earth dam/stop logs;. • De-watering of the lock structure to allow works to be carried out; • Cleaning of the masonry by brushing and jetting to remove vegetation growth and loose mortar; • Possible use of weed killer; • Preparation of joints for pointing; • Pointing between masonry joints; • Drilling of grout holes horizontally and vertically (possible hand drilling beneath bridge; • Injection of grout • Reconstruction of the canal bank downstream; • Reinstatement.
