Trail Kilkenny invites quotations from suitably qualified parties to lead the delivery of the Trail Kilkenny Review Project. This project seeks to engage the services of an individual or organisation to restructure the existing products. Redeveloping and repositioning them in the current market place. To extend the range of themed trails and to prepare an ongoing marketing approach for the Trail Kilkenny brand. (See www.trailkilkenny.ie ). Funding for this project is subject to approval. The provisional successful candidate will be issued with a Letter of Intent prior to approval and then a contract once approval has been confirmed The work is likely to be offered in January 2017 and the work is expected to be completed by the end of Jan 2019. It is expected that the successful applicant will commit 35hrs per week over the course of the project. The quote should be inclusive of all costs including travel and subsistence and be accompanied by details of the party’s qualifications to undertake the work. Previous experience of similar projects and development work should be detailed in the supporting material provided with the quote. The deliverables include: • Review the existing Trail Kilkenny product • Redevelop and reposition the Trail Kilkenny product/brand • Produce a strategic review document incorporating operational and marketing plans for the next 5 year period • Maintain a regular Social Media presence • Website- review and upkeep and update • On-going marketing of all existing products • Increase and develop the range of Trail Kilkenny products in conjunction with the Rural Recreation Office • Plan and deliver events that support the Trail Kilkenny products/brand.
