As part of the Passport Reform Programme, the Department is reviewing current application submission channels in terms of functions and activities offered. The Department is considering facilitating an external network of offices to allow applicants to enrol passport applications, during a face to face appointment across a number of different locations within the state and outside the state. In this market sounding exercise, the Department invites companies to provide information on their offering in order to help the Department to: • Understand the market landscape • Understand geographical spread and number of agent locations required • Understand companies’ approaches and offerings to enrolling applications, including for children, infants and multiple family applications • Understand how the proposed solution or offering could manage the seasonality of passport applications • Understand potential delivery and service models • Understand potential technology approaches • Understand potential cost models For the purposes of this market sounding exercise the Department would like to hear from companies that provide similar application enrolment offerings and services.
