Prior Information Notice (PIN) for information only - Locally-Led Agri-Environment Scheme

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) for information only. It is not a call to tender for any of the CPV categories listed, nor is it a commitment to proceed with any procurement. Calls for competition, if any, will be published separately in the OJEU and on www.etenders.gov.ie. The purpose of this PIN is to indicate that the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine intends to procure services for the delivery of a number of individual Locally-Led Agri-Environment Schemes to be launched under the terms of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020. The principal objectives of any contract awarded as a result of any competition may include at least the following for each relevant scheme • To help with the design and development of the individual scheme for which the procurement request issues. • To publicise the relevant scheme and recruit applicants. • To liaise closely on the ground with local communities and stakeholders in the preparation and implementation of the scheme. • To ensure the preparation and implementation of focussed farm plans aimed at delivering the objectives of the scheme. • To provide full project management, including administrative and technical support, for the successful implementation of the scheme. • To provide training and technical support to farmers and agricultural advisors involved in the scheme. • To oversee and validate all payment claims • To contribute to an ongoing review and assessment of the scheme in question during its implementation phase, and to provide a final review and assessment on completion.
