GDA_SI_FWK - Single Party Framework Tender for Ground Investigation Works at Grangegorman, Dublin 7

The site is located in North Dublin City Centre. Grangegorman is located between the Phoenix Park and Phibsboro with an area of over 28 hectares. The site is bounded by the North Circular Road to the North, Prussia Street to the West and Brunswick Street to the South. The site is divided by the Grangegorman Upper and Lower Roads which pass through the area. Currently Grangegorman is occupied by a mix of individual buildings of various ages (some of which are currently in use or under construction), playing fields and landscaped areas. Records show that previous use of the site included use as a mental hospital and a prison. The proposed works consist of a geotechnical investigation. The principle purpose of this investigation is to provide sufficient information on the ground conditions to allow for the development of potential solutions to any geotechnical challenges encountered and to provide data for the detailed design of the proposed infrastructure and buildings. The Framework Agreement shall cover a period of four years and shall be used as the basis of the appointment of a single party provider for ground investigation works. The Framework will cover an Initial Contract as described below and shall also be used, at the sole discretion of the Authority, to procure ground investigation works in some or all of the following development plots: • Plot 07 Energy Centre • Plot 08 West Quad • Plot 09 Academic Hub • Plot 11 Engineering Quad • Plot 14 Mixed Used Development • Plot 25 Mixed Use Development • Plot 28 Student Housing • Plot 30 Student Housing The initial contract will procure ground investigation works within the following development Plots: • Plot 15 Student Accommodation • Plot 16 Sports Centre • Plot 17 Student Accommodation • Plot 18 Student Accommodation • Plot 23 Student Accommodation • Plot 06 Primary School
