The broadcasting services contract includes, but is not restricted to, the day to day management and service provision for: • 8760 hours annually of content on Oireachtas TV which includes 6894 hours of replayed content, 1608 hours of live content and 258 hours of content from our broadcast partners (all figures are approximate) • 2370 hours of live broadcasting of the Dáil. Seanad and Oireachtas Committees (figure is approximate) • Maintenance and support of the broadcast equipment • Digital archiving and storage • Operational aspects of video production facilities and Post production • Sound Operations and its associated production equipment • TV Channel automation, ingest, presentation play-out and signal distribution • Technical and support aspects of supporting a modern transmission broadcast and production facility • Day to day operations and staffing • Future planning, development and strategy • Procurement of equipment • Project management
