This public procurement competition relates to the provision of an expert technical consultancy service to provide the Contracting Authority with advice and assistance in placing a new broadcast contract. The consultant will play a key role in ensuring that the broadcast contract will be delivered within a specific timeline. The Contracting Authority televises and archives all parliamentary proceedings. It provides host broadcaster feeds and offers production and editing facilities to a range of national and international broadcasters. In addition, it broadcasts and distributes the Oireachtas TV channel to a range of providers on a 24-7 basis, programming comprises both live and replays of parliamentary proceedings, in addition to streaming a range of complementary on-line services.
