Louth Meath Educational and Training Board are tendering for RFT 86799 Full Design Team services for a new 2 Classroom SNU for St. Oliver Post Primary School, Oldcastle, Co. Meath through an open procedure procurement process on eTenders.
Applicants submitting a Tender proposal should should refer to and ensure that have fully understood and completed: the Pre Qualification Questionnaires, the Form of Tender, Tender Proposal Form, and the Health and Safety Declaration Form, which are all attached to eTenders advertisement at www.etenders.gov.ie, and satisfy themselves that they meet the minimum standards required.

All completed documents must be submitted by post registered post or hand delivered to Louth and Meath Education and Training Board Admin Offices, Abbey Rd. Navan Co. Meath before the deadline. The deadline for the submission of tenders is 2.30pm Wednesday 03rd September 2014. This deadline is strict and no tenders will be accepted after this time.
The project category is Type 2a(2) and the estimated total performance period is approx. 14 months to construction completion with a further 12 months retention period. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to terminate the Tender competition process at any time. The Contracting Authority also reserves the right to procure the development by alternative means if it appears that the development can be thereby more advantageously procured. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
The funding agency, the Department of Education & Skills is subject to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act. If a candidate considers that any of the information supplied in response to this notice is either commercially sensitive or confidential, this should be highlighted and reasons for its sensitivity given. The relevant material will, in response to a request under the Act, be examined in the light of exemptions provided for in the Act.
This comprises the complete information to be issued to the Tenderers. No additional information will be provided. St. Oliver Post Primary School will facilitate only one site visit on Tuesday the 19th of August 2014 between the hours of 8.45 am and 4.00 pm and these will be the only opportunities provided.
Upon arrival you must proceed straight to reception where you will sign in and receive a visitors pass and induction. When you have completed your site visit you must return your visitors pass, sign out and immediately leave the site. This will be strictly enforced and any tenderers viewing the site without being inducted or carrying, a valid visitor’s pass will be immediately asked to leave the premises.
All Tenderers must ensure that they conduct themselves in a professional manner and to mind their language and behavior as the school will be in operation with students present on site. Any breach of these rules or rules stipulated in the induction will result with immediate ejection from the site.
