• To co-ordinate, supervise, quality check work of other team members (data entry assistant and preservation assistant). • To input agreed catalogue information from original documents in accordance with National Archives template and to check and edit data entered by other team members (data entry assistant and preservation assistant) in conformity with National Archives template. • To apply reference numbers to documents, folders and archival boxes. • To record data to enable the shelf-listing of repacked archives. • To maintain a record of documents requiring conservation treatment. • To carry out the surface cleaning and flattening of documents in conjunction with a preservation assistant. • To remove metal fastenings and attach documents securely into archival folders. • All work to be carried out in accordance with National Archives standard methods.
