TD23 - Tender for the development of a Web Application in Drupal & Associated Services

A Local Government Services Portal was proposed in the Local Government Efficiency Review report to Minister Phil Hogan in 2012 to provide a means for citizens and business to access key services across the sector. In line with this recommendation the LGMA has developed a Local Government Portal (LGP) as a shared services project and a shared resource for Local Authority eGovernment services. It aims to provide a central site which brings together information from the numerous local authority websites and present it in a unified way to the public. The ultimate objective of Local Government Portal (LGP) is to facilitate an easy route to find information on and access to services provided locally through local authority websites.
