Kilmaley GAA Club invites tenders for the construction of 1 sand carpet playing pitch at Lisbiggeen, Kilmaley, Co. Clare. The detailed requirements are set out in tender document attached. A tender submitted in response to this invitation must meet all requirements in tender document in full; otherwise it will not be accepted. Prior to the award of contract candidates will be required to satisfy Kilmaley GAA Club as to their ability to provide the services offered. The successful supplier will be required to negotiate and agree a contract with the Club covering all aspects of the works and services including the quality standards to which work and services provided for within the contract will be delivered. The specification and drawings in the tender document are intended to convey an accurate description of the nature, extent and standard of work required of the successful contractor. Potential contractors are advised to visit the site and fully acquaint themselves with what is required in the context of this document. Should there be doubt regarding the true meaning and intent of any clauses in the specifications or details shown on the drawings these should be fully resolved before submitting a proposal, as no extras will be allowed for any loss of expense involved through any misunderstanding arising from failure to comply with this requirement. Minor works not specifically mentioned but obviously necessary and customary in the trade, will be deemed to be allowed for, in the contractor’s price. Respondents must present all costs to be charged in the columns provided in Appendix D of the tender document itemized by reference to the headings outlined in that Appendix.
