Panel for Build and Maintenance of Walking Trails and Cycle Trails for Coillte

Coillte are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates for inclusion on a panel (s) for the build and maintenance of walking trails and/or off-road cycle trails. Panel 1 - Walking Trails: Candidates must have a proven record of building and repairing various types of walking trails and associated works, these to include standard trail, bench cut trail, reversal trail, turnpike trail, stone pitching, bog bridges, board walks, water bars, cross drains and other water management features. The candidate must also be able to supply all machinery and materials required to complete the jobs as specified. Panel 2 - Off Road Cycle Trails: Candidates must have a proven record of building and repairing various types of off road cycle trails and associated works, these to include single track MTB trail, grade reversals, berms & buttresses, stone pitching, board walks and water management features. The candidate must also be able to supply all machinery and materials required to complete the jobs as specified. General: Candidate must have up to date Coillte EIA training certificate for all members of staff or be willing to complete training before any work commences. Candidate and all staff members must have up to date H&S training and be able to work in sensitive and remote areas such as SAC’s, SPA’s, upland sites, bogs, old woodlands etc, and have respect for these at all times.
