SLIS Website Development - 1.1 The Sign Language Interpreting Service, (SLIS) invites tenders for the development of its website

SLIS now seeks to modernise the design of its website and introduce several new features aimed at: •Enabling interpreters to establish a profile which lists their interpreting training/ qualifications and accreditation/ registration details. •Enabling government departments and public bodies view these profiles and in some cases contact interpreters directly. •In some limited type of assignments, enabling service users to contact interpreters independently of SLIS. •Listing relevant interpreter training, seminars, and interpreter associations. •Providing information on previous or current registration/ accreditation processes and definitions of awarded accreditation R1, R2, RQI, RTI, CISLI process etc.
