EOI - Supply of an IT system to support the implementation of a perfomance management & development system

Description/object of the contract Affix narrative here. A clear and accurate description will allow potential suppliers/contractors to determine if the contract is within their capability and minimise requests for further information. Keep in mind that potential suppliers/contractors may not be aware of words abbreviated as an acronym in FÁS. FÁS is developing a Performance Management and Development System (PMDS) for its Head Office staff. FÁS is now seeking a PMDS package or software solution to support this process. FÁS Head Office currently has a staff level of approximately 250. It is intended that the PMDS will apply to staff at all levels of staff, including the Director General. It will be important that the software is capable of being customised to suit the PMDS that is being developed internally. The system should be ready to implement on a pilot basis during February /March 2013. The software application to support PMDS will be rolled out shortly afterwards. It is envisaged that the successful Vendor will be able to demonstrate its familiarity with the design of Performance Management Systems, be in a position to provide software that is capable of being customised to meet what has been agreed internally and to provide training to staff in the use of the software. It is a condition of the award of the contract that the successful Vendor(s) is in a position to begin working immediately. It must be understood by Vendors that the successful design and implementation of the Performance Appraisal System is a high priority for FÁS Please provide detailed information of capability of the software, focusing on the benefits it will afford to FÁS. The current HR system in FÁS is CoreHR and the PMDS support system must integrate with this system.
