MAR146506 - Appointment to a panel for the provision of certain legal services to NAMA

NAMA is seeking to appoint panels of suitably qualified and experienced Irish and UK qualified legal advisers to advise and act for NAMA regarding the following categories of legal services. The panels in respect of each relevant jurisdiction shall be grouped by reference to the complexity of the services required by reference to borrower structure (including tax structures), quantum of borrower exposure and cross jurisdiction issues.Enforcement CategoryEnforcement of any security, guarantee, indemnity or surety held by NAMA in respect of assets that will be acquired by NAMA including but not limited to the following legal areas.1. The requirements of and options under theNational Asset Management Agency Act 2009 forNAMA to best meet its statutory objectives;2. Insolvency law;3. Litigation;4. Land and Conveyancing Law in Ireland, UK andother jurisdictions; and5. Banking and Commercial LawRefinancing CategoryFinance restructuring, the provision of credit facilities and taking of security in respect of assets that will be acquired by NAMA including but not limited to the following legal areas.1.
