Advance Tree Felling/Hedgerow Removal Contract
Detailed description
The proposed N60 Oran Realignment Road Project consists 3.4 km of standard single carriageway, with approx 50% online widening and 50% greenfield solution. As part of the project it is intended to carry out tree felling/hedgerow removal in advance of the main contract. This advance tree felling/hedgerow contract will include the following:
• Appointment of Successful Tender as Project Supervisor for Construction Stage.
• Cutting of approx. 2,285m’s of roadside & field hedgerows. These hedgerows may contain some small trees which will also requiring cutting.
• The felling and cutting into 1.2m lengths off site of 301 no. Trees (3 bands <0.4m dia, 0.4-1m dia and >1m dia)
• Erecting 570m’s of temporary fencing.
• Designing, installing, maintaining and removing Temporary Traffic Management for access to works areas and working on Public Roads
