Detailed description
Realignment of the existing N60 National Secondary Route comprising the construction of a Type 2 single carriageway road for a distance of approximately 1.4 km. The scheme comprises on-line widening and improvement incorporating cycleways and footpaths.
Improvement and realignment of 3 no. existing side road junctions.
Construction of a retaining wall.
Construction of culverts.
Earthworks.
Various landscaping, environmental and mitigation works.
Various accommodation works including access to properties and lands.
Various fencing and safety barrier systems.
Various roadmarking and signing.
Various works including diversion of assets of utilities and service providers.
Various road drainage works including the provision of drainage outfalls.
New pavement construction and some pavement overlay.
Other ancillary works.
