The HSE wishes to establish a new contract with suitably qualified Service Provider(s) (hereafter “Providers”) to manage patient referrals to Community Intervention Teams (hereafter “CIT”) and Out-Patient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (hereafter “OPAT”) service in the Republic of Ireland. OPAT can be defined as the delivery of intravenous antimicrobials in a non-inpatient setting.
