Fáilte Ireland wishes to establish a Multi-Party Framework for the development of Visitor Experience Plans to support the core propositions which sit under Tourism Brand Ireland. It is anticipated that a minimum of 10 (SEP’s) will be produced per year of this Framework. Ireland is the overarching brand, there are currently three propositions, Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland’s Ancient East and Dublin, some are more established than others. Each proposition has a brand and vision and it is important to remember that each proposition is at a different stage of development, please refer to www.failteireland.ie A number of themes have been identified under each of these brand propositions which are intended to guide development. In order to bring these propositions to life on the ground for our visitors there is a need now to develop a number of memorable experiences within each proposition. These are referred to as Visitor Experiences and generally comprise of a combination of experiences and can be story based, thematic or geographical. They must also be: • Motivational for international visitors • Of scale (more than one experience, and usually a combination of experience • Unified by a compelling story • Have at least one ‘hero product’ at its heart • Capable of increasing dwell-time and/ or driving economic benefit We are now seeking to establish a multi-party Framework for delivery of the following: Preparation of Experience Development Plans (in line with Fáilte Ireland guidelines) through the provision of thought leadership, delivery of creative and innovative solutions for delivering inspiration and authentic visitor experiences that would have standout in the international market place. (Note: this is not about facilitation but a process/methodology to inspire and direct a group of stakeholders).
