BAI PSB Annual Review - BAI tender for Public Funding Review of Public Service Broadcasters

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) wishes to award a contract to assist in conducting its Public Funding Reviews of Public Service Broadcasters, pursuant to section 124 of Broadcasting Act 2009. The contract is being awarded initially for the 2015 and 2016 reviews to be carried out in 2016 and 2017 respectively but may be extended to include the review to be carried out in 2018 also. A decision in this regard will be made following a review of the 2017 process. Further information on the specification of requirements is contained in Appendix 1. The envisaged duration of each annual review process is twelve weeks. The first review process is expected to commence on February 28th 2016. The BAI is using the open procedure for the award of this contract and a quarantine period of six months after delivery of the review will apply to the consultant entering into any formal agreements with a PSB in the State.
