DEC 2015 - Invitation to Tender for a Works Contractor for the Sports Academy Building at IT Tralee

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

The Institute of Technology Tralee seeks applications from interested Works Contractors for the construction of a Sports Academy incorporating the National Adapted Physical Activity Centre at the Institute of Technology Tralee.  It is estimated that this project will take approximately 15 months to complete.  The Works Contractor will be also required to nominate the following specialist contractors:

 

1.     Mechanical Services Specialist

2.     Electrical Services Specialist

3.     Pool Specialist

4.     Glazing Specialist

5.     Roofing Specialist

6.     Flooring Specialist

7.     Lift Specialist

8.     Automatic Doors Specialist

 

This project comprises of the construction of an international size Sports Hall, Gymnasium, Aerobics Suite, Treatment Rooms, Lecture Rooms, Offices, Meeting Rooms, Changing Rooms, Toilet Facilities and associated Ancillary Rooms, Storage Area, Building Services, and External Works, having a total gross floor area of approximately c8,590 m2.
