Database and Middleware Support

This Request for Tender document sets out OSi’s requirements for the provision of support and related consultancy services for organisations database and middleware holdings As part of current operations, OSi makes available spatial data and the related application infrastructure for use by both internal and external customers. The current infrastructure comprises Oracle / SQL databases, Oracle WebLogic middleware (operating on both Windows / Linux Operating Systems) and Oracle Exadata hardware. Additionally, database and application environments are maintained for eCommerce, Finance, HR and administration purposes with a mixture of byt off- the-shelf and customised applications deployed. OSi DBA team provide first and second level support for all aspects of database and middleware administration as well as being involved in multiple development projects.
