An Post continuously reviews it's automated sorting strategy and is now planning to develop it's packet and parcel sorting processes and transform it from a manual to an automated system.

An Post have a requirement for the supply of automated equipment for sorting and processing mail. The equipment is required at two locations. One unit will be in a dedicated Packet/Parcel Sorting Centre close to the existing Dublin Mails Centre, Oak Road, Dublin 12. The other unit will be installed in the existing Mail Centre in Portlaoise. The projected timescale for installation of both machines is January 2016 to October 2016. .
An Post will set up a multi party framework agreement with an initial contract for the two machines. Any future contracts will be awarded by utilisation of the ‘cascade method’ during the term of the agreement. Suppliers who are interested in the contract must complete the attached ITT document.
