Radiation Oncology Centre at Cork University Hospital

Construction of a Radiation Oncology centre at Cork University Hospital [CUH]: A new facility of approximately 8,800 square metres [Gross Floor Area] over three storeys above ground level, including Bunkers for seven Linear Accelerators and support accommodation, a Brachytherapy Suite, Shelled Out MRI Suite, 2 no CT Scanners, On-Treatment Support, Technical and Administration support accommodation and associated site works.   

The Works will be carried out on active, acute  hospital campus site and will involve the construction of a highly serviced building physically linked to the existing hospital building.  The works contractor  will have to ensure that hospital activities are unaffected by the works at all times   

Medical Equipment will be procured by the Contracting Authority (CA) and installed by the CA post substantial completion.

Applications are invited from building contractors for the above works  . Applicants are  required to also propose at least one and upto three specialists in the following categories:

Mechanical Services Installation

Electrical Services Installation

Lift Supply and Installation

Medical Gases Installation
