Project 5789 - Community Intervention Team for the South East CHO Area 5

The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

The HSE invites tender submissions from interested parties for appointment to a Framework Agreement for a Community Intervention Team for the South East CHO Area 5.

A Community Intervention Team (CIT) is a nurse led health professional team supported by a variety of health professionals and services which provides a rapid and integrated response to an appropriate patient with an acute episode of illness, which requires enchanced/acute intervention for a defined/short period of time in the community or home.

The HSE intends through this tender competition to establish a framework type agreement with a maximum of five suitably qualified service providers.  It is intended that the initial requirement for Waterford will be awarded to the highest scoring tenderer in that competition.  Future requirements in the South East will subsequently be sourced from that framework of appointees.  It is anticipated that this will include South Tipperary and Wexford.

The timelines reflect the urgency to establish a CIT in Waterford. Please refer to the tender documents for all further details.

Yours sincerely,

Alan Brett,
