BE/SU/22/07/2015 - Supply and delivery of bearings for buses and coaches
This tender is for the supply of ‘Bearings for use in the maintenance of Buses and Coaches’, on an ‘as required’ basis, with delivery to the Bus Éireann garages nationwide. The quoted cost of product is to be inclusive of delivery.
Product:
In all cases, and for each vehicle type, the ‘Bearing’ products offered must be either genuine original equipment parts, or, equivalent parts that are no less than an exact equivalent to the original equipment parts, which would be supplied by the manufacturer of the vehicle type.
As part of the Tender Submission, the brand of manufacturer and manufacturer’s part number must be supplied by the tenderer for each of the tendered products, and are to be entered into the relevant sections of the attached file ‘Bus Éireann Vehicle Fleet Type and Material Code List’. The tenderers corresponding part number should also be entered in the relevant section of the attached file ‘Bus Éireann Vehicle Fleet Type and Material Code List’.
Where equivalent parts are offered for supply, the tenderer must supply supporting documentation for the parts offered, demonstrating the suitability of the parts offered as an alternative to the genuine original equipment parts that would be supplied by the manufacturer of the vehicle.
