REF: ME 5276 SUPPLY OF SUSPENSION SPRINGS FOR RAIL VEHICLES

The Chief Mechanical Engineering Department (CME) of Iarnród Éireann () has a three (3) year requirement for a suitably experience and qualified company to manufacture and supply Suspension Springs for EMD JT42HCW rail vehicles and EMD JT22CW rail vehicles.   

Suspension Springs will be required to be delivered to Inchicore Depot, Dublin, Ireland.

The term of the Contract shall be three (3) years from award of any contract.

Suspension springs are considered a safety critical component of a bogie and as such, any successful supplier will be required to demonstrate compliance with IÉ standard CME-SMS-009 a copy of which accompanies this notice.

Full Specification details of the service, including technical specifications and drawings of the types of Suspension Springs and indicative quantities required under the contract will only be provided at tender stage.

 

In order to be considered for inclusion in this Tender competition interested companies are asked firstly to demonstrate their financial and technical capacity by completing the Pre-qualification Questionnaire accompanying this notice. Returned Pre-qualification Questionnaires will be evaluated on the basis of the information provided using the Selection Criteria set out in the PQQ. Failure to achieve the minimum criteria and minimum scores required under the Selection Criteria will result in elimination from inclusion in the subsequent Tender process.

 

Two bound printed copies along with a soft copy (CD/USB) of your completed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire must be returned in a sealed envelope, bearing the PQQ Return Label accompanying the PQQ, by 12:00 hrs on Monday 17th of August 2015
