Service for the collection and delivery of samples for laboratory analysis
The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) requires a service for the collection and delivery of samples mainly including potentially infectious diagnostic specimens (suspect tuberculous lesions) assigned to UN 3373 Biological Substance, Category B which are packaged in accordance with Packaging Instruction P650 specification for liquids. The service required involves mainly the collection of the packaged tissue samples of infectious diagnostic specimens (suspect tuberculous lesions) from Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine (DAFM) officers, located at specified Meat Plants and same day delivery of the packaged samples to the Central Veterinary Research Laboratory, Backweston, Celbridge Co. Kildare before 12 midnight.
