SS/CON/2269 - Electric Vehicle Charge Point Installations

This service requirement covers the installation of Domestic Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge Points suitable for charging electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) for use in private premises, as part of a country wide roll out undertaken to support the use of electric vehicles in Ireland. The Charge Points equipment involved which may be manufactured by more than one supplier will be supplied free-of-charge to the appointed contractor(s) by ESB ecars. The scope covers the installation of Domestic EV Charge Points connected to a household distribution board and/or commercial distribution board. The work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, some civil, electrical and mechanical works as required to install this kind of equipment. The installation work will be carried out in domestic dwellings and/or Commercial premises located throughout Ireland. Only registered contractors (RECI, ECSSA) shall be considered for this contract.
