Dublin City Council (DCC) propose to establish and operate a Multi-party Framework Agreement involving roadway resurfacing using bituminous materials (asphatic concrete, HRA, Clause 942 etc..), road planing, laying of grids, GPR survey, raising/lowering & tying into ironworks on roadways within the Dublin City Council Administrative Area. The Contractor will be responsible for temporary road markings.Works will also involve the following: roadway repairs (depth will generally not not exceed 300mm), role of PSCS & Traffic Management (including preparing & implementing TMP's) DCC Road Maintenance have spent over Euro24m in the past four years on resurfacing within its administrative area (2011 to 2014 inclusive) Resurfacing Contractors shall be capable of undertaking works in excess of Euro1m. Retention bond may be required in the case of some works awarded under this Framework.Typically, the value of each Works Contract would generally range from Euro300,000 to approximately Euro1,000,000. The number of Works Contracts in a year is unlikely to exceed 10. 10 contractors to be shortlisted at Stage 1. At Stage 2 a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 (provided sufficent tenderers qualify for admission to the Framework) This contract has been awarded on the 16th February 2016.
