A15/3445/HMC11/15 - Supply of an Email Gateway

The Irish Defence Forces invites tenders for the supply and maintenance of an Email Gateway Solution to enhance the organisation’s email security and to decrease IT administration. The Email Gateway is required to protect inbound and outbound SMTP traffic. Security of the Defence Forces Network is paramount and for this reason the Defence Forces requires an Email Security Gateway which contains protection against zero day threats and reputation filtering and that sources its security updates from a global network of spam and malware analysis centers. Any proposed winning bidder will require piloting the hardware appliance in a live environment for verification of response prior to the official award of the tender. As part of the project implementation, training is required for IT administrators. The Framework agreement will operate for a maximum of four years.
