CORK COUNTY COUNCIL

INVITATION TO TENDER

Cork County Council invites tenders from suitably competent contractors for inclusion on a framework agreement of prequalified contractors for the provision of Domestic Plumbing Services to Cork County Council. Contract documents are available in digital format only, on E-Tenders. Contractors who are successfully placed on the framework will be invited to tender for qualifying works under the framework.

The life of the framework will be for an initial period of 24 months, (with the potential of extending the framework for a further two 12 month extensions). Contractors will have to show that they are suitably experienced, qualified and insured to be placed on the framework.

Notice to Tenderers.

Tenderers must show that they have the capacity and competence to carry out any contract awarded under the framework to the satisfaction of the Local Authority. To this effect Cork County Council has set out an application form which lists its minimum requirements for inclusion on the Framework. Tenderers who cannot show in their application that they meet these requirements may be excluded from the competition. Cork County Council reserves the right to utilise this framework or to go outside this framework, to provide services from time to time during the life of this framework for projects as they may arise.

Any Contractor appointed to any contract under this framework, shall be responsible for Health and Safety on site in accordance with the provisions of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006 (SI 504 of 2006). He shall also be appointed PSCS, and shall be responsible for all relevant statutory notifications. He shall also be responsible for ensuring any compliance and certification associated with the Building regulations

Your application form for inclusion on the framework, including tendered rates and all relevant submissions, appendices and forms, shall be submitted through the Postbox function on the www.etenders.gov.ie website only. The latest date for receipt of applications and associated documentation is the 19th of June, 2015. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
