Pharmacy Automated Dispensing - Provision of a Pharmacy Automated Dispensing System

Outline Scope The scope of this contract will include the supply and installation of the Pharmacy Automated Dispensing system into a refurbished facility sited within St James’s Hospital campus. The scope of this contract will include but is not limited to: • the design of the system taking into account overall project governance. • the supply of all hardware, software , project management and professional and training services for the deliver this project. • The provision of interfaces to the existing Pharmacy stock management and dispensing system CliniScript. • The delivery of interfaces to existing ICT clinical and financial systems (SAP) within the hospital. • The interfacing of the system to the electrical and mechanical infrastructure of the pharmacy dispensing facility in accordance with design team requirements. • The commissioning and validation of the system • The provision of ongoing maintenance on both hardware and software For note: the successful tenderer will be appointed as a nominated sub-contractor by the CA to contractor who will be appointed to construct the pharmacy dispensing facility from an installation and commissioning perspective. The successful tenderer will be novated to a design team to ensure that their technical solution is coordinated with the surrounding technical solution.
